Update  Surrey Warriors Season Warm-Up Sessions

We will once again be running season warm-up sessions prior to evaluations and the start of the 2017-18 season.

Youth division sessions will run Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Thursday August 10th at Port Kells Park Field, 19380 88th Avenue, Surrey as follows:

  • U7 & U9:  5:00-6:00pm
  • U11 & U13:  6:00-7:00pm
  • U15 & U18:  7:00-8:00pm

Women's division sessions will run Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday August 15th at Sunnyside Park Field, 15455 26th Avenue, Surrey.  All ages 6:30-7:30pm

To be on the field you must be registered with Surrey Lacrosse.  Visit our Registration Page to see how.

Note that these season warm-up sessions will be used as part of the evaluation process should we have more than one team in the division, but are not necessary to attend.


Top CheeseNew  Stealth Top Cheese Tournament

The Vancouver Stealth will be holding their second annual Top Cheese 3-on-3 Tournament the weekend of August 19-20, 2017 at the Langley Events Centre, which is open to Peewee (’05-06) and Bantam (’03-’04) players, both male and female.  The registration fee is $225 per team of 4 players.  Other fun stuff include prizes for most creative team uniforms, shootout, fastest shot, etc.

Basic Rules:

  • Play is on the short width of the turf with wooden shot blockers in net
  • Live substitutions
  • Three players on the floor at any time
  • Two 10-minute halves
  • Games start on the half hour
  • Timeouts only for safety issues

Lacrosse 150Lacrosse 150 Car Decal

To celebrate organized Lacrosse's 150th birthday in 2017, the BC Lacrosse Association has created a die-cut, removable car decal (size is approximately 5 ½ inches wide by 5 ½ inches tall).  Cost is $5.00/decal (plus postage), with net proceeds from the sales of these decals supporting the BCLA's three scholarship/bursary funds:  Wayne Goss Scholarship, Ted Fridge Scholarship and Dorothy Robertson Memorial Bursary.
