Cal Davies Takes Home Volunteer Award from City

The City of Surrey honoured past SLA President Cal Davies at its annual dinner recognizing volunteers December 7th.  Way to go, Cal!

 

 

 

 


Warriors at the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade

Rodeo Parade A big thanks go out to the 23 kids plus parents who showed up at the 2016 Cloverdale Rodeo Parade Saturday May 21st to promote Warriors Field Lacrosse by handing out thousands of information cards and stickers to a great receptive crowd.

Now make sure you sign up early to get the True Early Bird Discount for the 2016/2017 Field Lacrosse season.  Early Bird Registration discount applies until June 8, 2016, then prices go up!

Warrior Named to U19 Team Canada!

Congratulations to Tre LeClair for being named to Canada's roster for the upcoming Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) U19 Men's Lacrosse World Championship (see below).  Tre was a member of our U18 squad this past season.  Click here for the press release from the Canadian Lacrosse Association.


U11 Warriors Bring Home Gold Medal at Year-End Tournament!

U11-1 Provincials Gold Congratulations to the U11-1 Warriors for going undefeated and winning the Blue Division Gold Medal in the U11 Year-End Field Provincial Tournament held February 13-14, 2016 at Coquitlam Town Centre Park.  The boys defeated Ridge Meadows U11-1 7-4 in the division final, with Brody Burrell (Goalie) taking home the Tournament MVP.

Warrior Commits to Blue Hens

The Surrey Warriors would like to congratulate Tre Leclaire on his verbal commitment to The University of Delaware.  Tre is a current member of our U16 team and has played many years of field lacrosse with South Fraser and Surrey Field Lacrosse.  Tre follows the tradition to Delaware behind fellow Canadian lacrosse players John Grant Jr., Curtis Dickson and Surrey’s own Jordan Hall.  Click here for Inside Lacrosse article.
