About Surrey Rebels Box Lacrosse

  • With fundamental indigenous roots, lacrosse was Canada’s only National Sport from 1867 to 1994
  • Currently, Box Lacrosse is Canada’s Official National Summer Sport
  • From ages 3-21 (both female and male), Box Lacrosse is played indoors on iceless hockey arenas from April to July each year
  • Registration begins in December and pre-season training sessions begin in January each year

  • Winter Tots Lacrosse!
    Calling All 3 and 4 Year-olds! Surrey Rebels Tots lacrosse registration is now live!!!!! Surrey Lacrosse is running its famous Tot Lacrosse program again in 2023, open to all children who were born in 2019 and 2020 (3 and 4 year-olds). Your registration fee includes: Sessions will be indoors at Coyote Creek Elementary School (8131 156 St, Surrey, BC V3S 3R4) on Thursday evenings 6:00 – 6:45pm (climate controlled environment).   • Rebels Teams at Provincials
    The 2023 Female Junior/U17/U15/U13 Provincial Championships took place July 6-9 in Mission. Congratulations to the Langley/Surrey U17 team, who finished 2nd in league standings and took the Bronze Medal in the A division, defeating Coquitlam 6-5. The 2023 Youth U13 Provincial Championships also took place July 6-9 in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows. The Rebels C team, who finished 9th in league standings but went 4-1 in the playdowns, lost 5-3 to Coquitlam in the Bronze Medal match.
  • Junior Rebels Secure Playoff Spot
    The Junior Rebels, with an impressive record of 11-3-1 with one game left in the Regular Season, are 5 points up on the third place Valley Sturgeon, who have 3 games in hand. The Rebels’ final game is Saturday in New West against the 3-9-2 Salmonbellies. If the Rebels win, they secure second place and will hold home floor advantage over either Valley or Coquitlam Adanacs – Purple. Check out our website for updates on the playoffs!
  • Surrey Junior B Rebels Home Opener!
    The Surrey Junior B Rebels is back for the 2023 season! Our home opener is Friday, April 28th when we host the Valley Sturgeon. Home games are at Cloverdale Arena on Friday nights, 8:00pm face-off. Admission is $5.00 per adult, $3.00 for students and seniors, and FREE for any Surrey Lacrosse player wearing their team jersey.
