Dear Members of the Surrey Lacrosse Association,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new President of the Surrey Lacrosse Association. I am excited to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate community to continue fostering the growth and success of lacrosse in Surrey.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Bert Fong, our new VP2 of Rebels Box Lacrosse, Christina Clarke, our new Treasurer of SLA, and Trisha Holbeche, our new Social Media Coordinator of SLA. Your willingness to step into these vital roles is greatly appreciated, and I am confident that your contributions will be invaluable to our association. Additionally, I want to thank all the Executive members and Members-at-Large for your ongoing commitment and support.

I would also like to express a special thank you to Jamie Lamont, our Past President, for his outstanding contributions to Surrey Lacrosse over the past years. Jamie’s dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping our association, and we are deeply grateful for his service.

As we look forward to the upcoming season, I want to emphasize the importance of parental involvement in our programs. Your participation is crucial in helping us provide the best possible experience for our young athletes. We are particularly focused on rolling out new initiatives to attract more children to the sport of lacrosse in Surrey. To achieve this, we need your help in various capacities, from coaching and organizing events to promoting our programs within the community.

If you are interested in getting involved or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or any of our executive members. Together, we can create a vibrant and inclusive environment where our children can thrive, learn, and develop a lifelong love for lacrosse. I am eager to collaborate with all of you to make this vision a reality.
